Health information is special personal information. Patients consent on WhatsApp before any questions, and again before a consult is transcribed.
Encrypted at rest and in transit
We intend to encrypt patient records in storage and over the network before any practice goes live, and to run messages on the official WhatsApp Business Platform. We plan to share our security set-up with your practice in writing before go-live.
South African hosting for patient records
We are working towards hosting patient records in South Africa, with role-based access and access logs. We plan to share the details with your practice before any real patient data is used.

Do patients need to install anything?
No. Messages come from your practice's number on the official WhatsApp Business Platform, so patients use the WhatsApp they already have.
Does the AI make clinical decisions?
No. EazeNote drafts the note and suggests codes. You edit and sign it, and you remain the clinician of record.
What happens to the consultation audio?
The patient consents before recording starts. The audio is used to draft the note and then deleted. Only the note you sign is kept.
Does it work with my practice software?
For now you can copy or export notes into your current system. Founding practices will help us decide which integrations to build first.
What does it cost after the pilot?
Pricing will be per practitioner per month. Founding practices keep a lower rate for as long as they stay with us.

EAZEHEALTH is a registered South African company (registration no. 2026/840573/07). Our products are still in development. These notes explain how we handle the details you share with us and how we plan to run the Founding Pilot.

Privacy notice (POPIA)
We intend to follow South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) in everything we build. This notice describes how we handle interest registrations through our embedded Tally form while EazeHealth is in development.
What we intend to collect
The Tally form asks for your full name, email address, practice or organisation name, role, the EazeHealth tools you are interested in and your contact-consent choice. Please provide professional contact details only. Do not include patient information, medical histories, symptoms or consultation recordings.
How we intend to use it
To measure interest in EazeHealth and, where you consent, contact you by email about research and the founding pilot. Registering interest is free and does not commit you to a pilot. We do not intend to sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.
Who can see it and where it is stored
New registration responses are collected and stored through Tally, separately from this landing page. The form owner and any authorised collaborators can access responses. Tally processes information under its service terms and privacy policy, and processing may take place outside South Africa. Registrations previously submitted through Google Forms remain in that service unless deleted by the form owner. This page does not save a separate copy of your answers or display an applicant list. Patient records in any future EazeHealth product will be handled separately.
How long we intend to keep it
We plan to keep your application for up to 12 months after the pilot ends, or less if you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
- Ask what information we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
- Complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

Patient information in the EazeHealth product
When practices start using EazeHealth, we intend for each practice to remain responsible for its patients' information, with EazeHealth handling it on the practice's behalf as an operator under POPIA. We plan to put a written agreement in place with every practice before any real patient information is used.
Cookies and similar technology
When published on ChatGPT Sites, this landing page uses the hosting platform’s built-in traffic analytics, including visitor and page-view counts. No additional third-party advertising trackers have been added to this page. Your browser stores one setting for the length of your visit so the opening animation only plays once. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. The signup section embeds Tally. When the form loads, your browser connects to Tally and its privacy and cookie practices apply. Campaign-source information in the page URL may also be passed to the form to help us understand how visitors found us.
Founding Pilot terms
- Who can join. We intend to open the pilot to practices whose clinicians are registered with the HPCSA (or the relevant statutory council), and to check registration before onboarding.
- Cost. The pilot is planned to be free. We will not charge you anything without your agreement, and we will tell you about pricing before the pilot ends so you can choose whether to continue.
- Pre-release software. EazeHealth is still in development. Features may change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. Keep your normal records and processes running during the pilot.
- Clinical responsibility. EazeHealth drafts notes, codes and messages. You review and sign everything before it is stored or sent, and you remain the clinician of record. EazeHealth does not diagnose or make clinical decisions.
- Patient consent. We plan for patients to consent on WhatsApp before intake questions and again before a consult is transcribed, and we ask that you use these steps and not bypass them.
- Your data. Your practice owns its patient records. If you leave, we intend to export your records to you and then delete our copies.
- Leaving. Either side can end the pilot at any time.
- Formal terms to follow. These are draft terms. We will share formal pilot terms with you before you start.
